Three time Broadway performer, recording artist, and World Irish Dance Champion, Nathan Lucrezio has been working in the entertainment business for over ten years. He is currently appearing as Andrew Morton/Ensemble in the new musical DIANA coming to Netflix October 1st, 2021, and returning to Broadway on November 2nd, 2021. He began dancing as soon as he could walk, and joined the Rosemary Campbell School of Irish Dance at age 11. He went on to attend the World Irish Dancing Championships twice. The second of which, he placed 12th in Glasgow, Scotland, and was the second highest ranking competitor from the United States in his age group. While studying Irish Dance, Nathan took part in his school’s musicals, and worked at local professional theaters in upstate New York. With his capabilities he was accepted into Penn State University’s B.F.A. Musical Theater Program and after graduation, immediately moved to New York City.
Only four months after auditioning Nathan was cast in his first Equity Production of the Broadway National Tour of A Chorus Line as Alan DeLuca. He went on to star in Children of God a part of the Midtown International Theater Festival, where he earned an “Outstanding Actor” nomination, produce his one man show UnHeard at the HERE Arts Center, receive an “Emerging Talent Award" for the prestigious Lotte Lenya Competition, and made his television debut as a featured dancer in the breakout Bollywood scene of SMASH.
While working at the beloved Ellen Stardust Diner, Nathan received the call and made his Broadway debut in Rogers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella. He was a part of the show for a year and half, played two Ensemble tracks, and understudied the featured roles of Lord Pinkleton, and Jean-Michel. After closing, Nathan joined Shakespeare Theater Company’s production of the Man of La Mancha and was then asked to join the Disney Hit, Aladdin at the New Amsterdam Theater on Broadway. Nathan was with Aladdin for four and a half years, played two Ensemble tracks, and understudied the roles of Kassim and Razoul.
During Aladdin, Nathan took part in the developmental lab of Justin Peck’s Carousel , starred in The New York Musical Theater Festival's production of The Last Word, appeared in Jill Scott’s TV reboot First Wives Club and went on to produce a series of Cover Music Videos. Well known videos include “Waving Through A Window Medley” and “Hello/Writing’s On The Wall”. These videos led to Nathan’s debut Album, Nathan Lucrezio Covers Volume 1, currently available on all streaming platforms. His pursuit of music opened opportunities to sing at well known venues such as “The Green Room 42”, “Broadway at the W”, and star in his own concert at the famous 54 Below. In 2019 Nathan did the out of town tryout of DIANA at La Playhouse in San Diego California, and was then asked to join the show for it’s New York debut, making DIANA Nathan's first Original Broadway Cast before the pandemic occurred.
During the pandemic Nathan was still able to work. DIANA went into production for it’s Netflix filming, he was a part of Anderson Cooper’s 2021 New Years Eve Commercial, played a guest role on Queen Latifah’s The Equalizer, and held a reading with well known Broadway actors, for a musical he has written, currently in development. Nathan is thrilled to be back on Broadway and couldn’t have accomplished all he has without the tremendous support of his family, friends, colleagues, teachers, and collaborators he’s had the privilege of working with over the years.
